I think I must have been asleep at the wheel... how long has VRM supported a Geofence? And does it therefore have a kind of built-in tracker capability? (I have a 'proper' tracker, but just wondered.)

Funny you should say that. My domestic installation is new this year so it's getting it's first full roasting. Half the panels are south facing and half are west facing, so in theory there is never an optimum time of day for them, but there should be a fairly long day. However, I've seen well...

This goes to prove the theory that one day a van is a pile of bits and dangling wires and then just a few weeks later it looks nearly done! (Though I do realise it's not by magic but as a result of hours and hours of work....) Love the colours. Wow factor....

I'm just in the process of changing our washroom sink for one a bit bigger. The old one looked great, but it was just a nats too small: toothpastey water everywhere..... Bit annoying, but not too bad in the scheme of things. Just got to hang a cupboard the other way, replace the sink, reroute...

Annoying. And there'll be that nagging doubt for the next few trips, too! Gremlins like this are often electronic/electrical, aren't they? But I can't imagine how this could be...

I would have thought you'd need diodes rated just above the value of the fuses in the circuits. Isn't that so?

+1 for Magnums. Could also try Camper Interiors: https://camperinteriors.co.uk/. Excellent customer service in my experience. They do windows for various campers, so might have something slightly out of the ordinary that might suit your build, maybe.

My bet would be that you met the requirements to the letter of the guidance, but they just said 'no'. Seems to be what happens to lots of people (me included)

+1. Yes, that's what I did. I frequently cursed the extra effort of making it work, but totally agree about the extra space. I think we notice it most at 'elbow height'.

Good luck with it. It seems to be random whether a seemingly valid application is approved, with the likelihood running at just 5% (if recent past performance is a guide!). People have tried scrappy applications, immensely detailed applications, 10 pictures, 50 pictures.... it just doesn't seem...
