It will need to be a hell of a draughty van to end up with being cold with a log burner fitted.... Many a sub zero night on my canal boat with 12" of snow, on the roof sitting in 4 foot of very cold water with 6" of ice on top and every door/window open to cool down. I still wouldn't fit one...

I used to love my logburner when I lived on my Narrow boat.... I wouldn't have one in a van though... Dusty/smelly/fickle to light (usually when you need it most) and temperamental to keep lit at times and difficulty finding decent dry free fuel ... When I built the transit I did consider one...

IMHO it depends what you want from the heater.... IF your only away for short periods/warmer months where IF the heater packs up its dealable with then a Chinese one from a trusted/reccomended seller will likely be fine for the use I went with a genuine Eber as we go away all year round and...
