    Compact 12v fridges?

"Smart" or eco mode inverters will sit in a low consumption stand by mode ... Until something demands mains current (like the fridge compressor starting up ) Just minimises power consumption when not needed .

Air Outlet/inlet sizes also often vary between same kW rated units .... Usually between @75mm and @90mm ... 75mm can lead to overheat faults if ducting runs are too long ... In my experience the @75mm is a hangover from 2kw models ... As soon as you go to 5/8kw models the 75mm is too small...

General concensus in the trade seems to be they are cheap and cheerful ... BUT basically crap . Even our local independent pug specialist says if you want reliable buy a sprinter ... The ecu expert I was at on Friday said exactly the same thing ... Buy cheap ~ buy twice .

    Interesting Build Series on YouTube

So experienced they decided on a ex DPD van .... Pretty much every DPD van I've ever seen has been driven like it had been stolen by a knuckle dragging smoothbrained neanderthal . I think the use of anything with hammerite on it will likely be the least of any issues .
