    Diesel Heater On All Night

Doesn't look damaged to me... Just looks like the genuine eberspacher 'u' bend inside... I'd be more concerned about the fact I'd paid for a silencer with the other one and got an empty tin... Have a, looksy on here at what a correct one looks like inside...

    Diesel Heater On All Night

For what it's worth I'd try running it with any extra silencers/filters fitted too IF you've got them fitted... It's possible that restriction to combustion air/exhaust/airflow could be causing a problem with the combustion process. I suffered poor combustion once with a partially collapsed...

    Diesel Heater On All Night

It's not the fuel smell I notice.... Its the 'acrid' small of the burnt fuel from modern diesels that getse every time.

    Diesel Heater On All Night

Some modern diesels stink to me.... Not of unburnt/burnt diesel but a horrible synthetic smell no doubt down to dpf/cat actions.... However our d2 running on pump diesel is barely discernable as running unless in start up/boost mode.... Smell wise. Thought heating oil/kero was 'supposed' to...

    'Chinese' Diesel Heater

I wouldn't bother pfaffing ....they are designed to run on diesel ... Paraffin/heating oil is 'cleaner' burning than diesel ...though as I've said in my experience a correctly running unit runs clean on diesel .

    'Chinese' Diesel Heater

Same here .....ours sits at a sensible temp to avoid excessive boost runs . And never had an issue with it being sorted up inside some of the worst I used to deal with were ex bt van ones with the hopeless 1 hour timer that never let them get up to temp for long enough ...

    'Chinese' Diesel Heater

    Diesel Heater On All Night

Never had an issue personally (we run ours 24/7 when away in winter) HOWEVER its perfectly possible to have a exhaust leak from either the exhaust/or combustion chamber and/or experience combustion gasses getting into the living space due to poor installation. Worth checking with a Carbon...

    'Chinese' Diesel Heater

Between 0.10 and 0.23 litres per hour dependant on setting for Eberspacher D2.... I have to say in all the time I've been running one I've never noticed an increase over the base line consumption of 30 mpg drawing fuel from the main tank... Even when we've been away in the depths, of winter...

    Internal vs External Storage

I stuck ours under one of the dinette seats.... Close to where most of the electrical systems live in the back of the wardrobe... Keeps them warmer in winter and it's an awkward space to get at (seat cushions off to lift lid) ill also be removing the one in the under floor compartment and...

    Jerry can holder

Fibre glass/composites are immensely strong (as is aluminium) Used in certain ways.... Ask most folks with a fibreglass bodied car about stress cracks/starring etc... Same with ally bodied cars (landrovers suffer with galvanic corrosion/stress fractures from work hardening from vibration)...

    Damn, so sorry honey

I fitted one of these.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154131094924 Not the cheapest, BUT works well and with the storage box on the scooter rack at the rear makes reversing a lot easier.

    Jerry can holder

I'd be very careful just how you attach the holders... A full Jerry can of water/fuel is heavy and even under normal road conditions can cause stress failures... The only satisfactory method I found was on a purpose made roof rack (2 x 25 litre diesel/ 2 x 25 litre water) I only did it a...
