    24 volt Eberspacher

Fan not rotating sounds like the ecu isn't initialising as far as it's test pulse of the fan... So ecu fault or Possibly locked out after several initialisation fail...

    24 volt Eberspacher

Can you read the fault codes from the ecu with the controller you've got (701/801 types can) Fan should pulse or run slow whilst the ecu runs its start up procedure.

    24 volt Eberspacher

Pays you money and takes your choice.... For useage where its, not going to be the end of the world if it croaks then the Chinese one is a no brainer (especially bought from a trusted UK source) IF its fitted in something where its a pain if it goes pear shaped (campervan/motorhome that I'm...

    PV panel/roof bars

I used hydrazorb channel (similar to 41x21 unistrut but not slotted) and aluminium. And exhaust clamps (with nyloc nuts) to attach to the roof bars.... Mainly because I use it at work ;-) 41x21 slotted strut would work well too and is galvanised so weather resistant.

Chinese diesel night heater - external fitting.

Stick it under the passenger seat in a turret mount.... Perfect spot for it with minimum pfaff

Could be interesting for those worried about diesel heater noise.

I know exactly what you mean.... First job when weather warms and restrictions lift will be fitting eberspacher d2 in the Moho.... Even having refillable bottles using gas for heating feels like throwing money away.

Got a MotorHome? Want a Compressor Fridge?

Still freely available (the aussies seem to particularly love doing it) And available on alibaba etc.... (for slightly less dollar) However even as a aircon/fridge engineer I still chose to buy a Waeco coolbox type compressor fridge.... AND when I eventually chuck the 3 way in the skip...

Got a MotorHome? Want a Compressor Fridge?

IF it's a typical American rv type 'monoblock' it's possibly doable with a degree of pfaff.... The more usual type absorbtion type... Needs to have the ammonia recovered first before actually taking the thing apart... After buying the relevant 12v hermetic compressor and evaporator/control...

Gas Combi Boilers, who's got one...???

Most moder(ish) domestic combo type boilers use a balanced flue... A sort of double skinned arrangement... Combustion air in and combustion exhaust out... Various manufacturers make lpg versions on the same principle. There are also lots of instantaneous gas water heaters out there that...

    'Chinese' Diesel Heater

Be fine as long as it's fitted properly and not in contact with anything... Or just buy some eberspacher exhaust... For peace of mind.

    'Chinese' Diesel Heater

I've still got a melted coat and scar on my arm to attest to how hot they get.... Not seen one glowing red BUT deff hot enough to cause combustion.... The amount I've seen incorrectly fitted is frightening... Installed by folks that cannot be bothered to read eberspachers instructions OR...

    chinese diesel heater afterburner

Have to say in the many years I've had dealing with eberspacher type heaters.... I've never discovered the need for anything beyond the 801 type with diagnostics enabled.... Remote switching is pretty much pointless in my experience as they use so little fuel its better off left running.

    Diesel Heater On All Night

    Diesel Heater On All Night

Same here.... Along with chopping the disc valve on fs1e fizzies till they wouldn't run and random bending of Reed valves/filing ports etc.... All part of a learning curve that kids these days wouldn't have a clue about lol

I wasn't saying they WERE the same.... Merely that the science bit behind exhaust design is a deep and fascinating science...
