Same here when we went from the home built transit to the Moho.... It was a shock.... Lots more space BUT storage wasn't right for us... And not enough electric (battery wise) let alone charging wise... Amount of charging points was laughable.... Getting there now though with more...

I very nearly went with the earlier series version (already have 5 series landrovers) However after sitting in one for a very brief period I came to the conclusion that it would have driven me spare.... Cramped and frankly bordering on claustrophobic... The defender platform is OK engine...

Pop rivets on any large bits of fibreglass are likely to be a recipe for stress cracks and damage. I'd be very very wary of damaging it.

I like to sleep with the sound of the sea WHEN I can.... As we sleep north south in our van my head is at the EXACT point the window is... Thus lovely surf type noises right next to me ears... I should point out the reason I built it like this WAS to suit my needs exactly ;-)

I was going to fit a multi plate heat exchanger in the heater circuit (enables temp control via the dashboard heater valve) and calorifier And a eberspacher hydronic to warm the engine water when the engines off.... Never got round to it so must stick the heat exchanger on ebay when I find...
