Left from top to bottom blade fuse box Then two 'mega' fuses 30 amp fuse 2 black square relays Then 3 silver cylinder heavy duty relay Green thing top right is a d6dq timer unit. How it's all configured would depend on how, its all linked up and what it's supposed to do.

We spent about 3500 including buying the transit Jumbo.... Self sufficient power wise (solar/split charge inverter etc) and raised double bed at rear with storage under.... Worked for us as a very comfortouble tin tent.... Now changed to a Motorhome so transit will be up for grabs shortly....

    Am i missing something ?

External vents are redundant with compressor types (though heat dissipation is still necessary to a lesser or greater degree) Installation is thus easier and performance far superior. Absorbtion type fridges are frankly old technology let alone being power hungry and often temperamental. IF...

To be honest I don't actually do much greenlaning anymore as most of the best ones have been closed to vehicles.... Especially in my local peak district... Great shame BUT to be honest we spend more time heading off for weekends in the motorhome these days.

I think back in the day they were significantly less shyte than a lot of other stuff.... However many years of idiotic British management and laying back on laurels meant that they have been left way behind in the Defender format.... Frankly the Defender should have been taken out and shot...

I do love Landies, this ex ambulance Series 2A has definitive possibilities... mmmmmmmmmmmm

I VERY nearly bought a marshal ambulance body (marshal were the military converters) to go on the back of one of my landrovers..... Rented a trailer and drove down to Neath in South Wales to collect it..... 20 minutes sat inside it made me realise just how small and claustrophobic it would...
