my 230w was from bimble , i think it's 36v ,used a 20 amp tracer controller . very happy with it ,expensive but more efficient than cheaper ones

good thinking Rae ! i used to use this method when grouting tiles with epoxy grout, the only difference is i cut the tube down to about 3'' for ease of filling . good for putting jam in doughnuts too !

tip ,if you don't know it put the glue on leaving a couple of bare patches and use hot melt glue on these so they stick the timber in place while the gripfill cures

sikaflex if you don't mind paying through the nose for the name . Stixall from Toolstation is what self- builders use , does the same job a lot cheaper
