One good thing if true is that if you over supply on one phase the electric meter deducts that amount from the other phases. So you don’t get charged for grid in feeding. Selling surplus back is just not worth it.

Sorry Jixaman, I'm, looking at 48 volts DC. Current loading on a big system is much better. The Betty build runs 24 volts with a DC DC converter for those things than are only 12 volt. Today I've been running a Bandsaw and about 1kva heating along with some florescent tubes from Betty on an...

    Shower fan/vent

Along the same lines, blown air of some type is the only answer. The Murky build has a very large wet room below a double bed. The only problem I’ve had is the so called marine ply was not water proof and I’ve had to rebuild it in buffalo board. A phenolic resin board. The Betty build is having...

How's this for an idea? I know solar has been around for a long time for domestic use, but with increasing prices and a worthless infeed tariff, alternatives have to be looked at. We just had a suggestion that our electricity bill was going to increase to around £20 - £30k a year. It was bad...

    Victron GX/RPi tweaks

I find my cerbo very slow to communicate with remotely. The longer you leave it the worse it is. I wonder if it sulks? ;)

    Water tanks and fabrications

If a plastic tank weld splits the minerals in the water will form a scale at the joint. The chances of making a long term viable weld to seal it is unlikely. To stand a chance you would have to saw out the weld to get back to clean material and then it should be ok. My original tank was made...

    Water tanks and fabrications

I've had a fabricated plastic water tank and never again. Food grade stainless steel is the best way.

    Mercedes vario.

As mentioned, strip all the interior panels out first. Deal with the rot before spending any money on it. Btw, it’s not a Vario. Oh, don’t forget to remove the windscreen. It will be rotten where the glass fibre joins the steel.

    Photonics Universe Inverters

Remember some will take you seriously. When cooking with gas in a Motorhome it is very wise to open a window near the cooker. Wise to do it at home too. Carbon monoxide is a killer.

    3 Way Fridge Wiring Question

I would guess that it's wired to only run on 12 volts when the engine is running, and that it's connected to the engine start battery. If this is so I'd be looking at replacing the regulator pack on the alternator.
