I was okay, my shunt is close to my battery’s so I just got the shortest ready made battery lead from a local motor factors, think it was only a tenner or so with rings each end. On positive side I just used multiple lengths of cable wherever I needed heavier than I already had. The inverter I bought when I had to upsize recently came with some hefty cables and fuse as a kit with remote so sounds like I got of light
