I would remove the front bit and rebuild slopped box front to keep water out, then all single glass would come out to fit d/glass, back doors of and sealed also, would need to be cheap to buy as very old and requires lots of work, been there had the T shirt.

Led bulbs may flicker if cable to thin which i dought, more like the heater interfering with them, try fitting a ferite ring on lighting cables close to bulbs, or some sort of smoothing capacitor at motor.

The big problem with standard batteries is that the plate frame inside starts to break up and crumble falling to the bottom of the casing causing internal leakage, hence i always tell folk to buy a varta or bosch silver battery as this will not happen to at least 5 years old. (y)

You can buy a 230v mini fridge for £70, then if you can get one a Nikkai soft start smart inverter 600w, i have done all the tests following wildbuses posts, it has worked 100% and very happy i went down this path. I made a lock tab for door and also changed the opening to the other way.

All 28sec heating oil has it in it, no option, what i do when getting a tank fill is put in two bottles of redex diesel injector cleaner, boiler is as clean as new and now 5 years in service, the jet and swurl plate is clean also.

Put some cooking oil in the fuel, may not cure it but you will think your camping outside a chip shop. (y) :) fact is its the new fuel we get sold and there is a additive in heating fuel which lubs the pump rotor, it stinks.

Problem is mainly the plates start to break up and fall to bottom of battery shorting the cells out, no fix for this as such.

Yes i will ha ha , by the way the voltronic only feeds 1 ah to the starter battery, rest goes to hab batts.
