    Changing minibus to campervan v5

Leave it as it is. Most important is to convince an insurance company that it’s what you claim and safe. At least it’s a passenger vehicle and not goods. Road tax is cheap enough.

Callipers - Cheap or Not ?

I bet you'd struggle to find a modern engineer that knows what a vernier scale is, let alone read one.

Callipers - Cheap or Not ?

Colourful !!! We can't use the basic mitutoyo's due to our harsh environment. We use the coolant resistant ones. Sadly we have to replace them as every six months as they wear out. As for the cheapies, I often wondered why when you picked them up they didn't work. So makes sense to remove...

AC Fridge In Campervan -.Power Consumption Test

240 watts is a hefty load, it would be worse through an inverter. They won't work for free! I'm guessing mine is using around 80 watts including the inverter whilst it's cooling.

    Leak test

I'm sure it wanted washing on the inside, take advantage and finish it off. Things will stick better if it's fully degreased.

AC Fridge In Campervan -.Power Consumption Test

Put my fridge on yesterday. Setting No3 no idea about the temperature at the moment as a ladder has taken up residence in front of it. Batteries were at 90% this morning and it seems to use about 6 amps when running. That's the total shown by the BMV with a bit of quick arithmetic deducting...

Happy at 65-70 mph will do more but that's cruel. At that sort of speed returns 18 mpg. Inside the dash and bulkhead has been sound insulated. Goes anywhere.

We have a merc 811d with an ex ambulance body. All functions as it should. Anita is preparing the body for me to paint. I want it one colour before it’s sold. I’ll list all the spec. when it’s done.

    Open plan shower

Murky's first shower was open plan with two shower curtains sown together. The hot shower water made the curtains wrap around you. Anita was not impressed. Now the back is a double sealed wet room.
