Open plan shower

Sprinter 1 cup

Looking to put wet room type shower floor in middle of driver's side of sprinter, Stud Wall will only be 400mm or 500mm out from wall at both ends, with heavy vynal shower curtain that extends out in to gallay with maxroof fan above as extractor
Has this merit as wet rooms work well in homes?

I tried to design a similar type of wet room/loo for a paraplegic wheel chair bound friend and I found that although in principal it was possible we both came to the conclusion that it was, in such a confined space, practically impossible to achieve and that problem would be compounded ever more so if using any kind of flexible shower curtain.
Finally, in a Sprinter conversion where these mechanically brilliant vans are damned by very rust prone bodies, the last thing you want is an excess of water going heaven knows where.

I wish I could offer you more positive advice and assistance.

Murky's first shower was open plan with two shower curtains sown together. The hot shower water made the curtains wrap around you. Anita was not impressed.
Now the back is a double sealed wet room.

Have a look at Adria Twin vans, they extend into the walkway through when using the shower so similar idea. Also, see if you can find any pics of a CPT Sea or Sea cpt maybe. They were a purpose built motorhome for disabled and have a wet room extending from passenger side across 3/4 of the width, easy to get a wheelchair in.
Although I couldn’t live in one as not enough space for me I thought the Adria was a good concept. It doesn’t use shower curtains it has folding doors and panels I think. Del May be able to send pics (Trotter on here)
@Trotter c’mon Del wake up 😂
