    Violating a Princess!

As usual, just a lash up. These are the water heated radiators. In time they will be mounted to housings that will feed the blown air heating. So much more plumbing than I expected. Still the Calorifier and the shower room heated towel rail to plumb. Shower room needed first ;)

    Violating a Princess!

Made a start on the internal plumbing today. I decided to put some foil covered adhesive backed foam first. All of this will be buried with furniture later. Just a quick mockup at the moment. I want to prove for myself I’m not being stupid. It looks like it will work, so I’ll do more in the...

    New Build

If you have to put stickers on the sides, make one that looks like a window! As for insurance, it's an agreement between you and the insurance company. Betty is insured as a motorhome, but not on the road as not finished.

Got a MotorHome? Want a Compressor Fridge?

Off topic, but if your mind can wonder a bit not. Whilst researching various options about a dc or mains powered fridges many years ago. I came across some boat stuff where you could buy all the refrigeration bits for about £600 and make your own cabinet to refrigerate.

    Violating a Princess!

Just a bit of trivia, Anita has been in communication with a fabric manufacturer for Betty. We have a sample of a colourful fabric for the seats and other bits. She decided to talk to them today as we couldn’t find a product that ticked the boxes for the bulk of the trim. Funnily enough they...

Gas Combi Boilers, who's got one...???

I don't know your boiler and some things have improved over the years, but no harm in asking. Better than reading about the death of you and your family.

    Naughty Victron

The point being, as there was not much current flowing to get out of Bulk for a few hours. The voltage was held at a high level for this time. Just wondering if this would be detrimental to the batteries. It would be nice if the MPPT was aware of the Battery charger.
