My van was PHGV until I got it down plated so that would seem consistent. What were you thinking it would be?
I was hoping for a weight exemption on PLG. Funny thing is that there are a few cars over 3.5T now, are they HGV?

Now it seems the seating is accepted; the next push is getting it in a condition to present it for an MOT as it needs using soon.

Sorry cant answer you, only experience of PHGV and PLG I have are when my van was plated at 4t and now it is plated at 3.5T.

I have seen vehicles built for disabled use can be heavier (is it 4250kgs) and still eligible for standard car license, may be they don't get classed as PHGV but I am guessing/clutching at straws.

It's not the end of the world Phil.
What annoys me it that the taxation class is taken to be the vehicle type by many.
Even the Body type is misleading, as it can't be anything else other than SD/Bus/Coach.
On the upside the road tax is cheaper.

Two weeks away on a Norway trip and I was reminded the hard way to get on with the Betty Build.
Oh, did it rain!

A small amount of progress, but it's progress.
Like using skin fittings for eberspachers.
The heater is mounted under the step, but I'm limited for good spaces for the exhaust outlet.
Hence, I've gone from one side to the other.
Still some more brackets required, but at least I now know where it's going.
When it turns up, I'll lag the pipe to help avoid setting long grass on fire.

I was hoping to insulate the eberspacher exhaust pipe this weekend, Mellors sent the wrong size hose clips. Not the end of the world. The Exhaust lagging was posted through a letter box in a blue door. We don't have a blue door, let alone a letterbox.

Good news is the Fridge is still running. The electrical system that was put in a long time ago still works!
The Lithium's are in an outside locker now, it will be interesting to see how they will cope with the cold.
Before going to Norway, I hunted for our small leisure battery. Not to be found :( So I purchased another for the Tent.
Checking on the lithium's I found the leisure battery and remembered I was going to add a small lead acid backup for the lithium's
The smaller 50Ah I purchased for the Tent will better suit Betty, so I will order another to make the backup before it gets too cold.
If I remember from "Wildebus's" workings, they just need connecting on the output side of the BMS in Parallel.
Charging will then be automatic.
Better install a fuse too.
