You and me alike!!Thanks Phil, but she doesn't see the mistakes I make because I'm very good at making them look like planned ideas . Phil
Many thanks Ken, haven't seemed to have heard from you for ages, glad your still posting and joining in . PhilAfternoon Phil
Takes me back when we started Muttley’s build can I say I take my hat of to you for a few reasons, repaying your sister in law for her kindness and doing a second build to your usual high standards. There was a time when we thought of doing another though I found a old karmann beetle that I owed back in the day and managed to buy it back!!! In 2019. Re Bonded windows that’s the way I went as I liked the look of them better, I can remember at the time there was a friendly discussion re the for’s and against, what I can say in the 7 years since finishing we’ve be away in all sorts of weather and never had a problem with condensation, though we do have thermal blinds we fitted from the salvage caravan we used. Like I said I take my hat of to you sir and will watch the build progress.
Very well done
Ken
I just hope she doesn't have a desperate need for a loo in the middle of the night!Sis in law roughing it for a weekend on West Wales Rally. Plugged into shore power, blow heater, camp bed TV working electric kettle and air frier what more would you want . Restart on the build Monday. Phil.
Ahh forgot to mention the porta loo Phil.I just hope she doesn't have a desperate need for a loo in the middle of the night!
The very latest. Almost there with the kitchen, Sis in law delivered the Micro wave and Bluetooth radio today, so much for budget build . Though seriously she wants to travel the continent with it and I think she will. "RESPECT" to her . Phil.
Yes Phil, we have discussed this and I have made provision to change the set up to take a Gasit type tank in the future but needs must in a budget that at this point in time it was cheaper to set up initially with a standard calor gas bottle. Phil.If she is planning to tour the Continent, wouldn't she be better to have a refillable gas tank such as a Gasit, Gaslow or an Alugaz along with an external filling point?
I only ask as it is a right royal pain in the assiender having to buy different types of cylinders and then of course there is the monumental cost of buying refilled tanks compared with refilling your own........... You would of course also need to have an external filling point.
