We’ve got the 3mm stuff in the garage of our van.
Altro flooring is really good, but soooo expensive.
A lot of NHS trusts use Altro non slip flooring.Sorry Chris but no help for you at the moment, but when I first built 'Millie' I installed a 12mm marine ply floor throughout which I then gave 3 coats of water based satin varnish.
On top of this floor I then built all the units and then for the floor area I bought some good quality vinyl floor tiles (from B&Q) which I cut to shape and stuck down with spray adhesive.
Overall I have been well pleased with the performance over the years, but the annoying thing is the sweating of the adhesive up through the joints, so this winter SORN period, one of my jobs is going to be to rip out the tiled floor and replace it with industrial quality vinyl flooring used in NHS and similar buildings. I am hoping that the contract flooring company that we have used for years in Lincoln namely Clayton Carpets who undertake various County Council contracts will have some off cuts.
Although I love the feel of carpet under my feet, 12 spaniel feet and slobbering jowlers do tend to make a carpet more than somewhat filthy in no time at all
Phil
Probably nothing to choose between them. I went for Altro because I have seen how well it stands up to wear and tear in the NHS.while looking the same as altro flooring. tarabus flooring is far superior in my opinion. seen them used for over twenty years. and speaking daily to the guys that fit it. nothing wrong with altro.
I have this stuff in mr MH garage stops things sliding about but mine is ribbed. This stuff?

In my self build I bought from Halfords interlocking garage floor tiles made out of like a compressed foam hard wearing (made to drive your car on) and so warm on your feet.
I've never seen these in anything other then the basic self-coloured grey,
I had the wood grain ones in my Bedford Rascal but I only needed 4 tilesI've never seen these in anything other then the basic self-coloured grey,
That looks pretty decent, Have you bought the patterned ones?
