Our Master passenger ambulance has the original flooring and we're now thinking about covering it. What have you used, or would recommend please?

Got some T&G wood effect floor laminate from a local DIY discounter, and an Aldi floor runner on top to keep our tootsies warm. Easy to clean.

Sorry Chris but no help for you at the moment, but when I first built 'Millie' I installed a 12mm marine ply floor throughout which I then gave 3 coats of water based satin varnish.
On top of this floor I then built all the units and then for the floor area I bought some good quality vinyl floor tiles (from B&Q) which I cut to shape and stuck down with spray adhesive.
Overall I have been well pleased with the performance over the years, but the annoying thing is the sweating of the adhesive up through the joints, so this winter SORN period, one of my jobs is going to be to rip out the tiled floor and replace it with industrial quality vinyl flooring used in NHS and similar buildings. I am hoping that the contract flooring company that we have used for years in Lincoln namely Clayton Carpets who undertake various County Council contracts will have some off cuts.

Although I love the feel of carpet under my feet, 12 spaniel feet and slobbering jowlers do tend to make a carpet more than somewhat filthy in no time at all ;)

Altro flooring is expensive but worth it in my opinion. It takes some cutting as it is very tough but I expect it will last for a long time. The non slip surface would be best.

A lot of NHS trusts use Altro non slip flooring.

Probably nothing to choose between them. I went for Altro because I have seen how well it stands up to wear and tear in the NHS.

In my self build I bought from Halfords interlocking garage floor tiles made out of like a compressed foam hard wearing (made to drive your car on) and so warm on your feet.

I use similar in my workshop, but got them from Aldi when they were on offer.
