Remember its illegal unless you burn kiln dry wood defra approved, my old school mate had a vis from council to his workshop and told to shut it down and can be fined 10 grand or a year in the clink as he was burning old pallets etc, soon they will be banned altogether in houses and many now on facebook market as there ripping them out big time, noting our gov they will target full time vans next, I think there fantastic.
Maybe different in NI, but I think the legality bit is about SELLING wet wood as opposed to burning it.
There could be restrictions in designated clean air areas and maybe businesses, but private individuals in most areas are not covered (as far as I am aware).

I was going to say the same Dave, my understanding is you can still burn any wood but selling has changed. Of course I am know to be wrong occasionally lol

Yes for biz, but they are now clamping down on homes here and there, once one or two get caught burning non defra approved wood the word will get out and frighten others, yet my builders merchant still sell bags of cutting but under the counter if you get my drift. ;)
