I pay a bit more for my road tax, but it's not a lot.

I have used two brands, one type turned to jelly in about a week from opening. The other I haven't checked on, but was thickening. Despite this it does seem to work well. I've even used it to blacken windows. Paints just peel if you paint glass.

It’s such a shame that the very expensive window primer has such a short life once opened.

BTW, if you don't mind me asking. Are you still taxed as a bus/coach?

Let them know it would be illegal to class it as a HGV as it's not been type approved. Ask for Class M1 with a weight exemption. When I put my registration number into the Manchester CAZ it says I'm a coach. So the information that counts is it's taxation class.

The walls should hold it in place.

It will be a pain, but I would fill the voids in the floor with sticky foam.

I expect it would improve the insulation. Unless you wear your stilettos in there, the floor will be sound. I’ve seen 9mm on top of 50mm and that just about worked for more than ten years on a roof.

The sharp half moons they spray everywhere are just horrible. And as mentioned they need a lot of air. The electric ones are heavy and expensive.

I'm still puzzled by your findings. I guess a fridge or freezer's behaviour is more down to the refrigerant. Liquid and gas temperatures at it's stored pressure.

I'm glad I'm not there yet, work has gone silly. Unfortunately that pays the bills. I guess I'll be needing more pennies when I start the self build electric motorhome :(

Your biggest problem will be finding something that will bond with the aluminium. Clean it as well as you can and then etch prime it. Foil faced insulation board is also a pain to bond to. Clean all traces of the release agent they use to make it, then etch prime that too. I think the only...

Many of these things don’t perform as you’d like without a load.

With any kind of adhesive or resin it's better to be warm and dry. Unless you have your vehicle inside, I doubt if you'll be able to dry the floor.

From experience of those roofs, look at getting another layer of glass fibre over it using woven matting and use a flexible additive. Best of luck.
