    Mine is a old 59-12 bus 2.8 turbo and built like a tank, but if it has a cam belt then change it, make sure its got a high ratio diff if r wheel drive, if front im sure it will be ok, do look over the electrics as this is the weak point on i ty trucks.

    Camper constructor would be best as it neither van bus truck, but happy as is, just think it requires more plugging on the net, sometimes sites are not easy found.

    Same in my van, remember you must fit regulation under plates with high tensile bolts if a tin floor, wood they dont test, but do fit outriggers for safety, mine go around the heavy chassis, as for the swivel, I used ford ones and cut the excess mounts of and rebuilt them with a locking grove...

    A switch and 200ah relay so if I forgot to switch h lights off or something daft I can link hab batts to starter bat to fire the donky up, I also use this to connect all up to the alternator when driving bypassing the old factory split diode sys which was cr-p.

    No requirement for a fuse after the regulator or the switch before it, no charging for starter battery< i would use votronic with a 1 amp bleed, no mains charger or outside plug which should have a reverse flow switch.
