Are you not concerned that the Lifepo4 might just top up the AGMs and basically take care of the self discharge you get? I havent watched the video yet but I cant get away from that observation.

David, May I ask what bits of kit are giving you those tempearture readings. I know the VRM will not display the temperature of the MPPT controler but it obviously will display something.

I believe that was true a few years ago but it now uses the SAFER+ encryption. Both ends have to accept.
