Would think the transmission through steel would be loudest, fibreglass does tend to dreaded more. Sikaflex adhesive should be more than enough to hold a pump 👍
Are you going to check out my theory that the RB100’s are actually 110ah and not the advertised 100? Some deals going round may be enough to push folks to spend that bit extra.
Just to add, my lithium is not Relion, they would have been my preferred make but costs were too much. I got a deal...
Over a 24 hour period my fridge will use 48 amps Dave, it’s the majority of my 65 amps per 24 hours usage.
I have a few illuminated switches always on, 12 volt turned on, fridge, water pump but most non 230v sockets not lit. I do have a 4way USB to cig socket that’s illuminated and always on...
I think in all the years I rode, if it was a nice day, I always wanted to keep going :)
Was only when it was cold and wet I was content with minimal ride, even in the snow on the outfits you didn’t want to go in lol
The ones who are just high speed don’t tend to live long. Unless you ride bikes it’s hard to get a perception of how safe some things that may look dangerous can be. I was a lifelong biker (not biker as in gangs) and while I would speed it was where I considered it safe to do so, I did the same...
The people who organised couriers for what I sold said it was easy. I haven’t done it so don’t know. I used to just give anything I wanted on a courier to the store an before I retired. 😂😂😂
I speak to people who travel over the bridge between England and Wales for work Phil and they said there are no checks they can see just the usual speed vans/cars
It all depends on if the weigh ridge is calibrated regularly. At the quarry I worked weights and measures used to be in fairly regularly double checking even though we had them properly calibrated monthly.
We were certainly a lot more accurate than 10% but can’t remember what tolerance we had. I...
As I say I was impressed, had folks from all over after stuff even though I said collection only. Posted a couple of bits at their cost and a couple of folks arranged their own couriers. One lot went up near Edinburgh and another to Portsmouth but everything was easy.
I always mess up on eBay...
If you haven’t already done it post them on Facebook Marketplace as well. No fees at all. I have recently moved a fair bit of stuff on there, very impressed
What’s using your power then Dave? I know at shows it would be higher but sat at home I thought you were fairly low. Your fridge doesn’t use anywhere near mine at 48 amps does it?
On further investigation my Eberspacher is using the original heat ducting just not all of it. The reason I thought it wasn’t (apart from not all vents active) is because I have some much larger pipe under the bed and second set of larger outlets. Turns out these were from the heat exchanger on...
I had a look in my cloud storage and the document isn’t there so it will be on the laptop in storage :(
What I found meant anything registered before the 2007 date could use side facing seats. I notice yours was related to converting vans now so if supercedes what I had anyway.
They couldn’t...
From what I have seen I think the true capacity of the RB100’s is 110amp or slightly more when new. You can maybe put me straight on that as tests go on Dave. Bet you nearly launched the Relion through the roof when picking it up after your carbon monsters ha ha
If it was my fridge alone...
I think I have the relevant part saved somewhere if you need it digging out but there is a dat (I think 2007) where they stopped side facing seats for carrying passengers. Before that date it is legal as it wasn’t retrospective. What is retrospective is regs for children.
In spite of it not...
@SquirrellCook when I was recovering after my big bike accident the physio’s told me they see far better recovery from bikers than other people. She said she thought it was down to our general pig headed attitude that we WILL do what we want lol
That isn’t based on any medical facts or figures...
I have only let my lithium go below 80% once and that was when I only had the one battery. With the two if we aren’t getting enough sun and not moving I aim to keep them above 40% generally simply for the amount of time to recharge, sooner run genny an hour or two each day than all day as I...
Regarding carrying luggage on the bike rack, you are aware of the load limit (60kg if same as mine) of the rack and how that loads the rear axle? Only mentioning in case you don’t do ignore otherwise👍
I just get in with handcycle and Caz’s electric bike if we ever get both on together.
A question if you don’t mind. I have 2x100ah lifepo4 fitted and I have always had a bigger at the back of my mind that if I started the van with low SOC I could damage the alternator.
Is this unfounded or a real possibility?
mid I get 2 days use without solar I always get genny out to charge...
