Replacing double swivel with single, citroen relay.

If you remember mine has side seats on both sides behind the cab. I think if I had a swivel on the passenger side it would give option of a day bed to lounge on more than an extra hab seat. If you wanted to use it as an extra seat you wouldn’t be able to turn it right round and have leg room.

Replacing double swivel with single, citroen relay.

I have a Geist Phantom motorhome that’s based on a Sprinter 316 with the ambulance 6 speed sprintshift box. Single seats that leave a nice big walkway between seats to enter the hab area. Dogs sleep there when travelling. I camp stand upright in the cab as well 👍

Replacing double swivel with single, citroen relay.

I think the £40 for fitting is okay. It may not take long to fit something yourself but it’s rarely timed and you always forget the time something wouldn’t undo lol £40 for an hours labour isn’t bad and by the time someone gets up, gathers their tools, opens van door, does job, puts toold down...

    Violating a Princess!

A lot heavier duty use than mine then 😂 While I live in mine it does get treated gently, not sure that’s right wording but it will do 😂😂😂

    Staying safe

I never run an earth when I use my generator. I connect it to the EHU point on the van once running. Usually it just runs the 2 battery chargers and the Dyson is always plugged in so that gets a top up. I don’t think I actually use anything more than chargers at any time genny has been used so...

Kinnell you two must be rough if that’s all it’s intended for. I have been living in my standard motorhome for 15 months without a problem 😂😂😂😂

    Staying safe

I must say it’s all beyond me but I thought I had seen that having more than one RCD for the same thing was not good. I believe it may have been in relation to say adding wiring for a shed taking power from a plu inside the house. I will also say I did exactly that on advice from sparky sat...

In answer to Q4: yes they trip if appropriate when there is no ground from vehicle to earth apart from the ground in the ehu cable. Or at least mine have

It’s leaking injectors that cause the problem if that’s what you have. It may be the holding down bolts not secure or worn seal. Of course you may not have this but black coke/slime will be present under the plastic cover if it is. Clean off and fix leak is the cure

Callipers - Cheap or Not ?

You used to still get tables printed in stationary but not bought anything for a long time that might have had them. Certainly if you bought A4 diaries you could get them. Do you mean the little red (other colours were available) pocket books that just contained tables? I remember when I was an...

Replacing double swivel with single, citroen relay.

I have always know good welders so have never had to pay a going rate therefore no idea of cost. Would it be more than £100 though to fabricate a box from a drawing? Of course you don’t have to weld the support it can be bolted. All you are after is a stand off at the correct height.

Can you not just fabricate a new base to lower the seats?

    merc sprinter 515 ambulance

Nice job, I always thought an ambulance would be a good donor but some threads I have seen on their electric systems looks to much for me 👍

There are at least 2 others on the WC forum with these vans. The interiors look really well designed to fit so much in to me. A great camper I would think

    Friends' are after a Van

Yes Dave they call it Black Death as at one time it meant it cost more to fix than buy new. Guys on SS have done a lot of work on it though and it’s not so much of a problem now the knowledge has been shared. Starts with a loose/leaking injector. Symptom is loss of power though but it’s a...

AC Fridge In Campervan -.Power Consumption Test

If that was pained red Dave I would say it was my Bestek 300w unit. I did post what mine used when plugged in but no load a bit back. Got stuff on at the moment so cant check but I think it was either 0.1 or 0.2 amp
