    I changed from spades because they can come of and as you say earth points is handy, loop and screw is better because if you wish an extra unit can be taken of same point, volt meters spring to mind, two on my dash, 1 hab 2 starter bat next to s/wheel.

    There is one in my van but it has never worked and truth is im never that cold, must get a look at it sometime.

    I used the ones with a led warning light for a blown fuse, also has a common neg/earth point.

    You could have bought a chinki one for 85 bucks at 12v.

    I used the battery cable on mine to connect up my second battery, fused at both ends.

    I for one will never buy a hybrid or fully electric vehicle. You will have no option soon, all piston engines are on the back foot now, plus all makers are now gearing up for full production in 9 years time.

    The Parsun outboards I sell from china are owned by an American co that also have PPG paints under their wing, parsun are now the second biggest maker of water pumps and gennys in the world, China is the new Japan.

    I would remove the front bit and rebuild slopped box front to keep water out, then all single glass would come out to fit d/glass, back doors of and sealed also, would need to be cheap to buy as very old and requires lots of work, been there had the T shirt.

    Nice job and health to wear. (y) One thing i would say is put a tea towel or some foam packing over plates/cups as if you hit a bump or pothole i find they tend to bounce around.

    Your ins may be invalid, second, police under anti-terrorist laws can do as they wish, the inspection will or would be by the mot people so they to can look where they want. What would happen in a crash, ins may not pay for your van when the bike is found among the pile of scrap at the road...

    Led bulbs may flicker if cable to thin which i dought, more like the heater interfering with them, try fitting a ferite ring on lighting cables close to bulbs, or some sort of smoothing capacitor at motor.
