Nice to meet somebody who's trying these tweaks. I like the shutdown as not a fan of just pulling the power. If the Pi is doing something at the moment the power goes off and a file gets corrupted perhaps it will never boot again is my worry. Perhaps I'll try the Guimods today.

You are correct, it's a power lead out and back in again to start it from shutdown. I guess I could send my RUT955 router an SMS to pulse a relay to trigger a restart of the RPi or a Cerbo (possibly).Never tried it though.

For those using a Victron GX device including Raspberry Pi these upgraded to functionality in this video may be of interest. One option not shown in this video but available is the addition of a "Shutdown" option in the menu. An option to pulling the plug on a Pi.

Oh so true. Victron give a great app that makes changes so easy, unlike some other brands that require a Windows PC plus a lead and little to no instructions how to adjust it.

Have you considered/tried raising the "Input voltage lock-out" and the "Engine shutdown detection" level above those in your first post?
