    Acrylic or glass windows

It's 8.1 metres long. 2.2 wide and 3.1 high. The rest I'll edit in later as Anita is having a day off due to having 16 stiches in her leg yesterday.

    Acrylic or glass windows

I was thinking along those Dave. I just unrolled one of the miasol panels and they have over 100mm of unused area on the connection end. So I may be able to vent between them without too much worry of shadows. What I also found in the box was BMV 702 new and boxed. I really should try and...

    Acrylic or glass windows

Thanks Dave, but I really want to get the damp air out. I think it was cooking that killed my 608 Merc. It rotted all around the roof just above the guttering. I just had another look at Betty's roof and it might be possible to go between the panels. Or the other idea would be to fabricate a...

    Acrylic or glass windows

This is the one we want to sell, once we have made the new one useable. Also get this one painted.

    Acrylic or glass windows

I'm hoping this will be the answer on the "Betty" build. https://leisurelines.net/dometic-ck400-cooker-hood-5090-p.asp With the solar panels taking up all the free roof space on the sides of the roof, where to put the exhaust.

    Acrylic or glass windows

One thing I have noticed whilst working on "Betty" that has bonded windows, is that the water has nowhere to run too! On the "Murky" that has traditional transport style windows. It was a drainage system built in that collects and channels water outside. Now thinking of a system to prevent...

    Mercedes 813 - Early 80's Diesel - OM 352 Engine

Funny I was thinking that, I was told that horse urine is one of the best steel removers going. :(

    Mercedes 813 - Early 80's Diesel - OM 352 Engine

I use Uniroyal traction and steer. They grip well on mud. Takes some shopping to get a good price. I like to get them balanced when fitted too.

    Mercedes 813 - Early 80's Diesel - OM 352 Engine

Those older Merc engines went better on the old high sulphur diesel, you might find some power loss on veg oil. It was the 15 year old girls with no driving licence often found behind the wheel I was on about, though I've been told they are trying to stop it now. Tyre life is not bad if you buy...

Driven illegally, no money spent on maintenance. ;)

    Mitsubishi Fuso/Canter

Though I've not seen a uk version they do make a panel van and coach, so there must be engine access alternatives?

    Mercedes 813 - Early 80's Diesel - OM 352 Engine

From what I remember they were awful on fuel, and unless it's had a coach diff fitted not very quick.

    Upgrade

Yes Trevor, the new build spec has changed a bit already. Demolition is greater than construction still. I’m sure there will still be major mistakes/regrets.

    Mitsubishi Fuso/Canter

The who point was to buy a new one. High spec low price lots of options.

I'm not sure if they are tilt cab or not. The Rosa bus can't be. I guess it depends on how much cab you want to keep. Rubber/fabric bellows are often used for tilt cabs. For fixed cabs that are rubber mounted and then having a body built onto it. I've seen and driven versions with the rear...

    Mitsubishi Fuso/Canter

Many who convert chassis-cabs cut an access door in the back of the cab. Or depending on the body you want to build you may loose most of the original cab. My plaxton doesn't have much Mercedes cab left.

    Upgrade

Some of you may have gathered I've been going through an unplanned upgrade with "Murky". Somewhat frustrating as I have a new build in process "Betty" Reading some of your posts should have warnings of seduction, as they make you question what your doing. Murky in the early days was battery and...

    Battery Drain

This is what I'm having trouble with. My first set were not impressive. Looking for something better everyone was still raving about them. So I got another set. If it wasn't for fact I was about to go away I should have rejected one for being supplied with a low voltage. The new never...
