    Damn, so sorry honey

On this van I now have, it came with reversing camera, although I did have to replace the camera part. Reversing has never been so easy, I can reverse up to within a fag paper of the obstruction, which has caused a look of panic on some peoples faces. :devilish:

    Smug or what?

Last build eh, I said that when I built the Iveco, but the dreaded tin worm changed those "cast in concrete Plans" So in future I will try not to make plans, and just enjoy what I've got. :giggle:😈

    The Red Beast

Just seen your pictures, and I can see we are on very similar wave length. Hopefully I will get to have a proper look at it in the not too distant future, still got a lot to do to finish mine so I can get the pictures together and see if DVLA class it as a Motor Caravan or some other obscure...

    New Build

Thankyou everyone for your kind words, now I know the interior will not suit everyone, but it is definitely me, and there is still a lot of decor to be done, but for now it will be MOT and service and get out in it. I'm now hoping that I will be able to do my usual trip round Scotland in...

    New Build

Well I have had my first outing in the van despite it not being finished yet. I went to the meet at Lochore Meadows, and everything worked fine, so now to get the van serviced and it's MOT. I will also get on with the finishing which seems to take forever!

    Compost toilet review

Just a minute Dave, I bring my compost home and it goes into a large composting bin in the garden, so some people do use the compost besides myself.

    George Clarke`s Amazing Spaces

We didn't get a good look at the chassis, but I saw the steering wheel and also guessed it was probably an AEC.

    George Clarke`s Amazing Spaces

I watched it and was disappointed that they didn't show more of the build, but not surprising really. Would like to have converted a 10 metre coach when I was younger, but could never afford it. Not my choice to put a car in it, bicycle would be my choice.

    New Build

Hi Marie, I've got a bit more done as in building the wheel arch box's, next will be making the insulated rear bulkhead, then I will be able to work forward to construct the furniture....it's gonna be a while yet though. Today was a gardening day with one of my neighbours, we do have gardeners...

When it comes to van you converted, what was your worst decision?

In my present build, I decided to keep the double passenger seat, and so far so good. I have constructed an insulated bulkhead and put a hatch in it which will act as an emergency crawl through. I have always had two single seats and with my last van I could open the sliding door and access the...

    New Build

Not going to be finished for a while Jeff, but when it is, and we are once again allowed out into the world, I think my first trip will be to Glasson.

Yep, it will be fastened down properly Trev, would not want it flying around in the event of an emergency stop!

Hear what your saying David, but I had my spare in the boot with the Iveco, and for me that works well.

    New Build

Well I've had a good look at the spare wheel, and the "cones" are badly pitted. I could get it blasted and powder coated for £70 quid a go, or a new rim for about £60. So i've ordered four new rims from Oponeo and I will save the best rim on the van for the spare.

    New Build

So, yesterday I spent under the van retrieving my spare wheel, I knew it was going to be a task, and it was! Got the bolts off the winder and cut the cables off with my angle grinder. I kicked the spare, rattled it about, swore at it, and it stayed exactly where it was! Attacked the bottom of...
