Do I not like carpeting/trimming....

Not keen on woodwork.... not mad struck on wiring....
definitely don't like the trimming stage.
After putting it off for months (easy to do as we've been busy going away in it lol)
I eventually bit the bullet and made a start.... sticking carpet to vertical surfaces is like wrestling greased whippets whilst nailing jelly to a ceiling.... work of the devil Grrrrr.

Nice job,simple to carpet roof all i did was cut to size then spray glue a bit at front center line then hold up carpet and use a dry paint roller under it and spray away as you go down center line and outwards to edges as you go.
all this is easy if there are 2 doing it.
I found doing the bit round the front windows tricky but using a bent spoon handle lifted the window rubbers as i went round tucking in the cloth worked well.

I've just a got a transit jumbo. And wondering whether to go sideways on or length ways. I'm 5'10" tall and tried laying down side ways and it's not quite long enough. There will nearly always be two of us in the bed too. How tall are you! Also where did you get the rear windows. Are they caravan door windows!?

It is..... I've got Veltrim/easyfit for the roof but wanted the contrast from the darker patterned carpet to break the areas us.

I'm 5'7 tall and found it a struggle sideways hence us going for North south layout.
can't help on the rear windows as they were already in when we bought the van...

Regs require a 6ft bed so it will have to be length ways,best to put opposite side door at rear quarter leaving room for sink behind drivers seat or opposite bed behind sliding door.

I will have to put my foot down one day, nearly everything is pink for her. She has even suggested a pink shirt for me. I got out of that one though, I told her pink makes me look fat. I'm 18 stone FFS but she agreed with me. I put 12 little led lights in the roof of the van when I built it thinking how nice to lie in bed and look up to the stars, you guessed it! We now have pink stars. I got a wallop in Lanzarote when all she wanted to do was lie in the sun, what the hell for? I asked. "I want to get brown" she replied. I thought you liked pink? I said sarcastically. That was enough.

ohhhh....let her have her pink......cheers the mind,body,soul.........i have 3 pink painted sheds and pink and green tubs in garden........little car trailer painted pink and black....and i think men look good in pink......trixie
