Not aimed at Active, but one thing I find uncomfortable is having a horizontal seat base with a vertical back. I know it makes it easy to form a bed, So I’m asking if anyone has come up with a comfortable solution?

First confirm your theory by visiting a new van dealership. If they are greased you want a waterproof grease, most are not. Morris oils make one and I’m sure others do too.

I’m disappointed that you didn’t offer to help him build one, that way you could have shared the errors and mistakes. Sickening to spend that kind of money for a low build quality. There are lots of utube posts on how not to construct, with the authors being proud of their shoddy work.
