Yes just pull the fuse or remove pos wire into control unit from solar panel,mine are fussed both sides ,into control regulator and out of to batterys with a fuse box.

I agree about wicking, but my van had it from new so i bubble iso over it,we could not find any replacement in N Ireland and to costly to bring from England as i had to do with most of the stuff i required.

M/waves will almost kill even a good battery,is you m/wave a internal inverter taking 12v up to 230v or is it outside the box and van mounted,any way to run one you will require around 220 to 240ah batterys ,one monster or best to have 2 sep ones,you will also require 200w of solar to top them...

Yep big plastic mug some milk and a handful of oats,boil in m/wave 5/6 mins and let stand to thicken,pore and drizel with honey or jam etc,slurp slurp,you can also add a tea spoon full of drinking choc powder to it when boiling. :)

There is a lot more to it than filtering,it has to be methanol washed and converted then water washed before taping of for fuel,anyone stuffing raw veg in will bugger the pump seals etc as to thick.

Cooked 40 years of my life at home with a m/wave,so getting used to a gas oven and 2 ring hob will take time,seems like going back to being a cave man. No one that i know bakes or cooks the old way here now,most just call in to yuck lins or jolly fryer here on way home from work,our next door...

Ditch the m/wave and fit a small gas oven from go outdoors. Runs on small cannisters at £1 each,can be refilled.
