Pulled leaky window out without breaking it

When you get the bonding kit cut off the spike on the plastic nozzle, hold the gun/nozzle at 90 deg to the bodywork and so that the "V" of the nozzle leaves a high triangle continously around the window aperture, try to complete it in one go, it's very difficult to do it in one go but try to...

Adding a 3rd seat to 1999 fiat ducato

I fitted a double swivel seat into my sons 2015 Peugeot Boxer about two years ago. This seat had seat belts fitted to the seat frame so seat belt mountings were not required. I mounted it on a frame that I welded up and drilled down through the floor and used mild steel plates to strengthen...

Pulled leaky window out without breaking it

I've found that the best way is to get an old kitchen knive and sharpen the blade well, on an oil stone preferably. Then using leather gardening gloves use the knife like a spoke shave and gradually slice the excess bonding agent away from the bodywork. Then work on the glass in a similar way...

    New build Sis-in-Laws Motorhome

It's things I have taught myself over the years Squirrell, mainly patients and trial and error, usually error 😄. I have always been of the argument that if someone else can do it so can I 🙂. This present build has taken me almost 4 months at nearly full time and I reckon I've still got a month...

    New build Sis-in-Laws Motorhome

These are cassettes I've made to house the eco blinds. These take alot of care and time to produce but really worth the effort for a professional appearance to house the blinds and stop them hanging away from the wall plus stops them from flopping about and rattling while travelling the last...

    New build Sis-in-Laws Motorhome

As an aside to carpeting, that is stretch carpeting, those who have Done this will I'm sure agree that it is not a quick or easy job on a build. In my post you will see where I have carpeted around the o/s opening window down to the long day bed, to do this properly and with a professional...

Ceiling boards x2 covered in padded cell stuff. Need hidden fixings.

If the boards do not need to be removable then I would as I have always done stuck the ceiling board up with evo stick "Sticks like shit". Believe me once it has gone off you could physically hang your body weight from the ceiling. All that is needed is blocks stuck to the roof or roof...

    Fiat Ducato gearbox

Well Mark, your correct ofcourse that nagging doubt has been on my mind but I've now had three outings since the problem solved itself, consisting of over 50miles each time and various reverse gear use and it's still working fine. I have no idea why this happened as reverse gear in the box is a...
