    What tools?

The four most used tools in my build were: - 1. Multitool, I used my amazing Bosch multitool on so many occasions it was totally invaluable! 2. Rechargeable drill, as in so many things DIY a good one of these for me in any case essential, mine is a Hitachi and is as good now as it was 4 years...

    New off topic Chat Room

Our dog walking isn’t at all pleasant when storms like Eric are blowing away, mind you it does never cease to amaze me when I watch the Red Kites and Common Buzzards flying overhead whilst twisting and turning their bodies so magically............. and then there are the Crows, Rooks and...

    Mercedes 811D 1989

Mind you Darren, as the years go by and emission regulations become ever tighter then there will forever and ever increasingly stringent emission regulations coming into force! Already in the UK there is already the London emission zone where your beauty is no doubt not allowed, as there are...

Do you carry a scooter or motorbike in your garage?

My concern is Phil is that if there is any grey area at all, then an (underhand, self funding) organisation such as the DVSA might try and make something about nothing which is why this matter surely needs addressing at ministry level so that any and all suspicion is removed, which is hopefully...

    Muttley’s Build

I had forgotten Muttley was a MWB, you have made an amazing use of the space................... truly well done. Phil ps. As for the Newfoundland, we know of one or two other people who have been thinking about adopting one of them and then they learnt about the amazing upkeep as well as the...

    Muttley’s Build

Ken I love your plinth you made for the sink, 10 out of 10... I have the very same Magnums sink in 'Millie', but I bought the plinth they sell for it as well and it was a right royal PITA to fit! My washroom is across the back of the van between the wheelarches which just allowed me to be able...

BC PROFILES - good on line prices for items such as Stixall

The only caveats I have/hold about this supplier are:- 1. The website is dreadful and exceptionally slow. 2. On the website they claim 99% of all orders if placed before 1pm (13.00hrs) will be delivered the next day whereas my delivery took 4 days! I contacted BC Profiles about this slow...

Do you carry a scooter or motorbike in your garage?

Phil @Squiffy, you are doing an absolutely fantastic job. OK it doesn't affect me but I know of a great number of motorhome owners who it does and as such it is a matter that surely MUST be brought to the attention of the press and public alike? As one of the people who corresponded with you...

I had GEOFF on the phone to me last night, yes GEOFF who was on both SBMCC and DIY. He told me that he has registered on here but for some unknown reason he doesn't appear to be able to get onto the site, possibly @Admin can look into the matter for him? Phil

Do you carry a scooter or motorbike in your garage?

I seldom if ever disagree with anything you write Phil, but on this occasion I do as throughout the combined membership of Phil's @Admin 3 sites, there will be countless hundreds if not thousands who carry some kind of bike in their vans, it is simply that they don't know of your sterling...

    Wotcha doin?

It's funny how these heaters of ours all seem to have their temperamental aspects   Mine is a Propex and I can guarantee that every time I initially turn it on after a longish period of inactivity it won't work! However a quick hard blow up the heater burners air inlet pipe with...

Darren me old cock sparra.................. have you thought of having it partially vinyl wrapped? And with regards to your suggested designs I would go for the last one, immediately above, but also continuing the colour scheme up and onto the roof which if going with vinyl would be a doddle. Phil
