Thanks for that Edina, I’v looked at the installation booklet. Obviously i would only want it to be switched to 12volt while driving. So if I put a switch in the bridge wire between the low volt + and D+ wire, would this switch then turn it onto the 12volt supply? Thanks again Darren.

They are getting very rare nowadays, Mercedes stopped making them in 2013, so if it’s good with little rust and low mileage, then you can ask almost anything you want. The vario and the t2’s have a great reputation and if looked after, are capable of huge mileages. I don’t think it’s over...

Thanks phil, Yeah I’v done silly trips in the past, we now plan loads before we go, but we’re very easy and change our plans along the way, so if we find somewhere we like we stay longer, I just like to have a plan rather than a destination. Darren

I used 15mm John Guest, throughout our build, the 15mm beeing the most common size makes it available everywhere and in all the fittings. It’s also the cheapest size. Never had a leak and very easy to use. Darren.

What would be the difference between a motor scooter/bike and a pedal bike? If you’re the pedal bike was for racing? Or come to that a invalid scooter? Darcar
