    Yes looks like a electric rad convector,ex is down through floor,works by convection drawing cool air in at bottom and hot rises out top.

    Also forgot to say if draining down waste water or pumps ,always put sum antifreeze down plug hole etc it will stop any water left in bends from bursting pipes,or you could blow out with compressed air as i do with marine engines pumps and hoses over winter.

    It is time to look at batterys for winter as in if unsealed check flued level and terminals etc smearing with vasolin,also making sure fusses are ok and not corroded at contacts etc. Also look at bulbs and head/tail lights making sure any drain outlets are clear so they dont fill with rain...

    I always thought the old caravan type heaters were good as no electric fans/motors wasting power were a better bet.

    Morning ,sun out so on with last we fiddly bits of flagging then back to putting up a ceiling in extension. Coming close to retirement i seem to be doing more work than ever,but better than being dead.

    Out and about saturday and the roads were choco with newish vans between balymena and colraine new bypass,must be more money about than i have got.

    If i were young again id have a production line building vans on my drive,ex gov or co vans a few years old and struck of charge can be had from a few hundred squidly didlys up depending on mileage at auction .

    Me to 100ltr water and waste tanks under van,in winter drain and use 10ltr camping containers kept inside.

    Yep good way to test,i have a very small weep coming in around left bottom corner of screen to sort next time i get a few dry days.
