You could make a frame that allows the mounted panel to be tipped forward or to a side as to get charge from sun early morning or evening. It would require a set of rams and a pump motor to work,me i would just fit a extra panel to save any probs,i get away with 200w flat on roof,12v tv led...

Can be done for 2 grand easy if you keep eye out for bits and bobs,forget getting lots from old caravans as most is cr-p to start with. agao to boat jumbles and small sinks /cookers etc turn up for buttions,wash unit from ex doe vans,casset loo from caravan or ebay,battery float chargers 20ah...

Im running 200w panels into 180ah batterys and my solar reg will trickle charge eng batt as well

The voltronic will trickle charge the engine battery to,very handy me thinks.

Think there is a flame out metal thingy in them,bit like a superser ,may require a tweek with neadle nose pliers.

There all mppt these days and silent.

Looks good though you could have had the wheels shotblasted /epoxy 2 pac prim and then poly 2 pac finnish,we used to do them for £15 a rim which was a good price as a co down road from us did crappy powder at £100 a rim. Handy we van i must say but do make sure you have the correct size plates...
