Cooked 40 years of my life at home with a m/wave,so getting used to a gas oven and 2 ring hob will take time,seems like going back to being a cave man. No one that i know bakes or cooks the old way here now,most just call in to yuck lins or jolly fryer here on way home from work,our next door...

Ditch the m/wave and fit a small gas oven from go outdoors. Runs on small cannisters at £1 each,can be refilled.

Batteries should be charging at 14.4v from alt.

The simple way is fit a 200ah relay bypassing the fuse with a switch so you can connect all the batts together for starting,thats what i have,just remember to knock the switch of when camping as not to drain starter battery.

Varta /bosch power frame get the best name in batteries for all use,when i worked in a big dealership all batteries came dry and only filled and charged the day before use or sale,this was done in a steel mesh caged room and oly one man at a time allowed in,rubber boots only and no metal objects...

I remember a local dealer had prices for fast moving car bits,starter over 400 bucks compared to skoda at 80 bucks,tail light lenses humungus price,b cylinders 200 a pop,skoda 10 squid,think parts may be better now compared to 20 years back but i would enquire.

The price of parts is through the roof.
