i guess you have LiFePO4 lithium-ion batteries? I’v read a lot about them recently, very interesting but bloody expensive. If I was going to reto install them I’d have to change pretty much all my charging system! Even though it’s still something I’m considering? But not in a hurry to do. Darren.

The Mercedes Vario is probably the biggest van body available in this country. yeah I know you can get library buses or special build vans, but I think the vario is the largest standard body. They are at the heaviest 7.5 ton gross. But can be any where from 5 ton. The engine is a 4.25lt turbo...

In my experience if you’ve got the pictures showing most of the stuff they ask for that’s enough, however your van MUST look like a motor caravan. It’s no good sending pictures of your van if it looks like a bus or an ambulance or even a van with windows. Unfortunately it’s all in the eye...

For us, the difference of around 2&1/2 feet, would reduce the living space just to much. Our bed is across the van, it’s 6’2” long fits a standard mattress. Giving us the space we wanted for bathroom wc shower etc.

I guess that if you’re going to pay over 40k...... then the cost of the tax isn’t going to worry you much!
