Annoyingly I have all the tools and the experience to build one, but not the fitness or the level space.

    Yikes - new battery price

Our Fiesta battery was acting up two years ago, that has stop start so I turned it off while I got a new one under the warranty, barsturds fought tooth and nail to get out of it but I won.

    New build questions

The last one was L4, just wish I'd had the foresight to put longitudinal beds in then, my design would have been okay with it, hark at me "design" yeah right :D :D no drawings were harmed during the building stage, just problem solving. I did find a L4 yesterday on eBay in good nick too well...

    New build questions

Double no good for us as we both get up in the night. It needs to be a Ducato etc.

    L3 then.

    New build questions

MWB to me is L3, I'd rather have L4 really same as the last one, 6 foot beds + shower works out to about 9 feet so doable it's the kitchen which kills it really only 4 feet total.

    New build questions

Liz has just said she'd like to do another build  I am less keen as it's beyond me now, so she thinks we can buy a 2015 ish low milage MWB Ducato and have someone build it for us, we don't want a rock n roll bed but two 6' singles in the back as we don't want to sleep across the van...

    Wind Turbine ?

If the impeller is at the end of a pipe or the the force can be multiplied, the height is more important than the volume, but of course more volume can equate to more power, to provide a good bit of power there are lots of different way to generate power if you're good with your hands. Look on...

I’ve sold our VARIO …… & now looking for another vehicle.

I can see the attraction of them being and easy build, but not liking the look of them at all I'm afraid it's just a box, I'd like to see one done nice on the outside too, especially if it's on your drive all the time and you and you neighbours have to look at it.

    New battery tech?

Not up on battery tech all sounds like snake oil to me :D :D

I’ve sold our VARIO …… & now looking for another vehicle.

All but one of ours sold within weeks on Ebay £20 for a month classified not auction, jsut decide what you want (research what it's worth & find a good description to copy from) add a grand for chippers, take plenty of landscape pictures, write a decent description extolling it's virtues and how...

I’ve sold our VARIO …… & now looking for another vehicle.

I did a plan to do one but never got around to it and we decided it wasn't feasible for us. My drawing usually gets a chuckle so here it is :D :D

I’ve sold our VARIO …… & now looking for another vehicle.

I much prefer driving 7.5t trucks to any van out there and done many thousands of miles in both, just easier, better view of the road ahead and the surrounding countryside, air over hydraulic brakes so you know it will stop when you need it, vans brakes are not fit for purpose when fully loaded...

I’ve sold our VARIO …… & now looking for another vehicle.

I'd suggest a 7.5t better payload and brakes and economy isn't too bad, but the 3m probably kills that and maybe the euro 6 request. Actually Euro 6 isn't a problem...

What are peoples thoughts on this

Might be a posture thing, but I sold the last van because of it, we're not all the same shape and size of course.

    LHD Sprinter

Another thought occurs, you could buy it cheap and sell it on if they are not averse to the idea and put it into a different van.

Sign writing that has been on for so long can be a real PITA to get rid of, easy to strip the vinyl with a heat gun but it can very often leave a ghost image and that is really hard to shift, T-Cut etc doesn't always work, this white used van places find it easier to just DA them and respray them.
