Yes, thats the way it works on my van, 14.8 and very occasionally 15.2 on overrun, 12.6 or 13.8 (depending how long I've been driving) under power. With headlights on 13.6, doesn't drop to 12.6. Just smart alternator, no regen brakes.

Think I'd come to the same conclusion as you, Iveco Daily. I guess if going over 3.5 tonne, may as well go as close as you can to 7.5 t, if you need that sort carrying capacity. All the other vans are well short of the Daily's 7.2 tonnes. Seems to be a fair few auto Daily's around too, ok...

What about the Fuso Canter. Truck like looks but smaller than most 7.5 tonnes. Not a recommendation by the way, just another option.

Thats easy sorted with bull bar. Even when over east, when on tarmac cans on back, going on dirt roads, pull over, kettle on, air down tyres, move cans to the front, 10/15 mins prep, all part of the fun. I'm getting excited just thinking about it, and I'm not even going. :LOL:

Would be thinking similar. Carry cans on back crossing europe, etc, as soon on rougher roads move to side or even front.
