    Violating a Princess!

Continuing violations ;) It just seems that all I do with Betty is fiddle. So what have I been fiddling with? Well two more window demisters have been made, just need some more black pu mastic to bond them in. As the back demister was in place I’ve had another go at fitting the kitchen cabinet...

    240V vs 12V lighting - Discuss!

As I'm not the kind of person to fiddle with others bits, I'm not experienced in what bits they have to fiddle with. So just based on observations. When we stop on sites with mains hookups, others tend to panic over getting plugged in as fast as possible. Even plugged in, their lighting does...

    Converting 12/24 volt Fluorescent Lamps

Red, it's the work bench that I don't want to touch. It needed tidying around 3 years ago. As the mess grows the less I want to go near it. At the point I can't work there anymore I might do something about it. As you move away from my work patch the greater the density of mess :( Yes a...

    Converting 12/24 volt Fluorescent Lamps

This is so much easier than you might expect. Basically it consists of removing all the old gubbins. This one that I converted has a festoon bulb as well. I left the holder in place and will upgrade the bulb with 797-2340 from radio spares. I like these as they are rugged and non polarised...

Replacement Light Glass - An Option

I don’t know if it’s true of all paints, but when I was weighing out the paint for Murk. I noticed the white primer was heavier for a said volume. I’d assume that meant it had more solids? Overwhelmed with your results.

    Vent Windows

I know it’s been done many times, but I do wonder about the longevity of aftermarket bonded windows. I’ve seen two now at the point of catastrophic failure.

About to fit the gas system to the van

At least it will stay where you put it. It's not like it's going to walk off!

    Free Money

Ok fake title, but I made you look. Please don’t go away, as this could benefit us all. From January the 1st this will be a free site, I’m sure it’s not the money that stops people taking part in it, but from then on there will be one less excuse. I’m sure there is more than a dozen of us on...

To grease or not to grease!

Just a warning, silicone spray does seem to attract dirt.

Seating and Sleeping setup (MH2) - complete - Regal Upholstery

Salesman, no. Politician shamed? A sad fact of life is nothing is new, some so and so has been there before. It is true that if you force your view for long enough people will believe you. American history proves this. Such a shame as it could have been good. This is what I proposed and why...

Seating and Sleeping setup (MH2) - complete - Regal Upholstery

Not aimed at Active, but one thing I find uncomfortable is having a horizontal seat base with a vertical back. I know it makes it easy to form a bed, So I’m asking if anyone has come up with a comfortable solution?
