  1. Wotcha doin?

They all seem to using stretched photos in their sales literature and on-line ads which give the impression of the rooms being much bigger than they are. Good luck with your search. I am also looking for a property, somewhere between the border region and Inverness so plenty to choose from.
  2. Muttley’s Build

Excellent, thank you for the link. Can I ask, what sink have you used in the toilet and does it get in the way of anyone having a shower. I am looking to put in a corner sink but can't decide in which corner it should be located for best accessibility without being in the way.
  3. Floor covering

I got some vinyl samples from ebay and couldn't believe how thin it was so decided to splash out on the Altro knowing it would last a substantial time.
  4. Where does the solar energy power go to when all the batteries are fully charged?

I have heard of a skeleton in the cupboard but a skeleton in the loo is new to me.
  5. Where does the solar energy power go to when all the batteries are fully charged?

You don't connect the wires anywhere, just leave them connected the way they are. If you want to use a computer or cooling fan then simply connect to the leisure battery and when they drain the battery then the solar will charge the battery back up again.

I do the same using a hot water bottle and it does help
  7. LINUX good or bad ??

I looked at changing to Linux a while back but got mixed comments from being the best system available to one of the most useless ones around so decided to stick it out with Windows 10 and have to say I am now very happy with it. I think you will also get mixed comments and opinions but whatever...
  8. Tables

I don't understand why they say you have to have a permanently fitted table but it can be removed and stored away when not needed, it just doesn't make sense to me as there is no way they can enforce such a rule.
  9. Voltage drop and cable sizes

Would a gas soundness test be acceptable to your insurance company as this could be carried out by any gas fitter registered to do lpg work.
  13. Have you been prescribed any medication that your body has reacted against?

I struggle to take painkillers such as Naproxin, Codeine phosphate and Iboprufen as they cause serious stomach problems even when taken with lansoprazole. The first time i was aware of this was when I had excrutiating chest pains which resulted in blue light ambulance trip to hospital. I am...
  14. Wotcha doin?

Indeed a tragic story. If it happened today there would be calls for a public inquiry and to apportion blame to those responsible. With regard to fishing - i have spent many a frozen night drowning ragworms and it was usually around 2.00 in the morning when I would say to myself'what the h@ll...
  15. Floor covering

Probably nothing to choose between them. I went for Altro because I have seen how well it stands up to wear and tear in the NHS.
  16. Floor covering

A lot of NHS trusts use Altro non slip flooring.
  17. Floor covering

Altro flooring is expensive but worth it in my opinion. It takes some cutting as it is very tough but I expect it will last for a long time. The non slip surface would be best.

  20. Change to Motor Caravan

I could never understand why a fixed table (that can be removed and stowed away when not needed) is a requirement but a fixed or portable toilet isn't required.
