    Battery

It's not a definitive test by any means but, check the battery voltage with the engine running, and then straight stopping the engine, then say an hour or so later without using anything electrical (not even the lights) and see what the voltage is.

If that van has been standing about out of use for any length of time the leisure battery is almost sure to be tatered. Phill

    Plotting and Scheming!

Bit of both. There is an online library of ready-built modules available to add to your design. The library is populated by Sketchup users so it can be a bit random, but that said it is massive so there are all sorts of items. Even if there isn't the exact item that you are looking for there is...

    Plotting and Scheming!

I was showing Marlene the Irish breakfast and she asked if I fancied a cooked breakfast - pushing against and open door there... Not quite up to Trevskoda's Irish breakfast standards, but not a bad start to 2020 - Happy New Year, one and all. Phill

Ducato, Relay, Boxer - Owt to choose between em?

    Plotting and Scheming!

Ha ha well spotted about the overhead lockers, it will have those, I just jumped the gun in sharing my progress so far. I’m really pleased to hear about your gas bottle location as my location was going to be on of the specific questions I intended to ask. I didn’t know you could refill the...

    Plotting and Scheming!

Readers of the Motorhomer forum will have read of my misfortune with our current motorhome and my plans to embark on a self build project. I've been beavering away within Sketchup (way more fun and easier than real life) and here are some scenes my first stab for your critique. This model is...

AC Fridge In Campervan -.Power Consumption Test

trevskoda, can I just confirm that this is the inverter you bought - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NIKKAI-Power-Inverter-DC-to-AC/113301616746?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 The reason that I ask is that their description specifically says not for inductive loads, which is what a fridge is. That...
