More or less done. We were a bit surprised at how much whiter the supposedly correct paint code paint was compared to the existing paintwork. When it is finished we'll give the whole van a cut back polish and maybe that will reveal the original white.

We got the van at a good price largely because of the pretty serious nearside ding.

Thank you for this Phil, it re-assures me a bit that your setup (apart from the refillable bottles) is exactly the sort of arrangement that I had envisaged. Crucially I was torturing myself about the need for a steel cupboard. Regards Phill

A refillable tank would be my choice too but SWMBO won’t even entertain the idea and I’ve long since given up on reasoning ;)

Does anyone know where I can source a gas locker to hold two gas bottles? All the ones I’ve seen online are for a single bottle. Thanks Phill

A coat of paint and it's not looking too bad. It's a bit shiny here because it is still wet!
