Thats a Sietz window Keith, sorry I've been swapping over to a new phone over the last few days, far harder than building a van 😄, only just got the ability to view this site back. Phil

    Window

This sort of place and as Dave suggests Magnums would be a good place even if only to ask if they know where you might get one, though I'm doubtful that you will be able to source a new piece as most shops want to only sell the complete window. But the actual manufacturer might possibly send you...

    Window

Hmmm, it as Phil (Millie master) says really needs a photo put up of the window in question. I think your talking about the inverted 'U' shaped rail that is clamped to the top of the window and is clipped into the receiver rail that's attached to the window frame, but can not be sure. Some where...

Adding a 3rd seat to 1999 fiat ducato

Sorry I was assuming you had a panel van conversion but of course your van is a coach built. So no I was suggesting that you went back to a fixed double seat as per the original for a Ducato/Relay/Peugeot van and you would have to leave by the drivers door and walk round to the hab door to get...

Adding a 3rd seat to 1999 fiat ducato

Be very careful as double seats are not the same fittings, the swivel base you have located will have a very specific make of seat that corresponds to it, or you will be into a major modification situation 😉. Phil If you intend to go down the three seats in the cab then I would buy the the two...

Pulled leaky window out without breaking it

When you get the bonding kit cut off the spike on the plastic nozzle, hold the gun/nozzle at 90 deg to the bodywork and so that the "V" of the nozzle leaves a high triangle continously around the window aperture, try to complete it in one go, it's very difficult to do it in one go but try to...

Pulled leaky window out without breaking it

You get the primer with the bonding kit along with the application bud on a stick. The primer is also an anti corrosion fluid too. You must follow the instructions that comes with the kit. Phil P.s. The primer can be used on bare metal to stop corrosion.

Adding a 3rd seat to 1999 fiat ducato

I fitted a double swivel seat into my sons 2015 Peugeot Boxer about two years ago. This seat had seat belts fitted to the seat frame so seat belt mountings were not required. I mounted it on a frame that I welded up and drilled down through the floor and used mild steel plates to strengthen...

Pulled leaky window out without breaking it

I've found that the best way is to get an old kitchen knive and sharpen the blade well, on an oil stone preferably. Then using leather gardening gloves use the knife like a spoke shave and gradually slice the excess bonding agent away from the bodywork. Then work on the glass in a similar way...

    New build Sis-in-Laws Motorhome

I thought I'd put up some photos of the tile edging I use to hide the carpet edges and gives the carpet a nice straight edge finish. I've carpeted the rear doors today and will post the results tomorrow. Phil
