The bed will be static once the new legs are varnished. Needed more height for under bed plastic storage boxes.Quite like the idea of a movable bed for a change of view.
Well aware of that thanks - trouble is one of the dogs happily chews through the strap to his harness within minutes.Just make sure everything is well anchored down before you travel. Many people have been killed by loose objects in the back.

Whoops just realised that I may have some members intent on creating a luxury motorhome. Used to have a half share in a Burstner Delphin - loved its luxury but the size restricted use in the areas I love. Extricating from wildcamping poi spots was occasionally difficult and sat nav approaches to mtb rescues with an inch either side was wearing. Equally maintaining the interior from scuffs was onerous.Firstly don't consider myself a motorhome builder but developing my campervan unit. My former swb Renault trafic high top worked but the mileage was getting large and accommodation getting tight for me, two Bedlingtons, a kayak and E mtb despite a rotating passenger seat and Rock and Roll bed + external bike carrier.
Spotted a well maintained Renault Master 10 seater minibus with half the mileage half that of the trafic. Additionally already has windows all round, carpeted walls and roof, two opening roof lights and ebersbacher heater on Ebay. Too good to miss.

Images of the interior. The chairs can be moved to clear the side and also the table and support leg to allow transport of the kayak. The wheelchair lift needs to go to allow room for the bike in transit.
Intending to use a piece of chain instead of tape to his harness. Then the only thing for your oh so naughty four legged friend is a secure cage.
