All Fuses the same?

So you need say a 200A Fuse for an inverter? But which one?
Actually the fuse itself is not the important thing. It is the holder the fuse is mounted that is most critical!

I don't know if I have just been unlucky, but just about every ANL Fuse holder has not been very good. The fuse itself never blows when the current is below the rating, but the holder itself cooks! And not talking cheap holders either, but a range of holders from a few quid upto £20!

Having a bit of a clear out in one of the sheds getting rid of stuff that is just hanging round and saw this old holder I tried for a short time until ......

Switched to Mega Fuses as the holders for those seem a lot more reliable and able to cope with the heat from high current running
