Well 2days of fitting Solar and roof repairs,
Only messy part was when Sikaflex fell & broke
Yes it's a custom made roof box yes it's reflective (when clean)
Fitted with 50mm angle , but the front angle is only so when driving wind won't lift or damage panel .
Latter adding shocks for tilt .

Don't get me started on the merits of physical fixings over adhesive................. Fingers crossed @Gav that your paint is well and truly adhered to the metal.

But going by the amount of Sikaflex you have used there shouldn't be any problems and you will enjoy the supply of free electricity throughout your travels both far and wide.

I rivit all the fixings to the roof too as I like belt and braces approach

If you haven't done so, or don't have access, mastic over both sides of the rivets that penetrate the roof. The have a habit of leaking through the rivet.
