Plastic shower tray paint?

The other day I posted about my problems with a leaking rooflight and that problem has now been put to bed........................ However, like a total prat, I forgot to fully cover the shower tray when I was working on the roof, where I was using petrol to clean off all the old Stixall ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :mad:

The result of this is that there were some dirty splashes that fell down onto the previously immaculate plastic shower tray and, try as we have, nothing appears to be shifting them without also damaging the plastic surface, so I am now left with the situation where I have got to consider painting the tray.

My question is, does any kind brain know what would be the best paint to use on a white plastic shower tray please ?

Many thanks

Phil

You would first have to use a acid two pack etch primer which is like see thru and stinks like cats pi-s,then a coat of acrilic or poly two pack paint, may be better to try and polish with g3 farecla cutting compound, use water on the cloth when doing

Has the petrol reacted with the plastic? or is it possible to remove the marks if you found the right product? wondering about stuff like Tardis, or G101 from Autosmart? (I am guessing it is past that though?)

Thanks for that Dave; but actually my magical most beloved sat (quite literally) for hours on end with some 'T' cut and she was able to get the plastic back to a very smooth finish indeed.
But the semi-crazing is still there which you can't actually feel, just see, so in the long term I might have to bite the bullet and either paint the tray or possibly even cut it out and fit a replacement, but that would be an absolute balls ache of a job as I bonded the tray down with so much Stixall and it is in such an impossible to get to location that I want to avoid the job at almost any cost!!
