Well we went to see the amazing bungalow in Leicestershire this afternoon and boy oh boy it is amazing how the darned estate agents photographs had made it look so much better than it was. But mind you it was very nice and the garden was indeed truly amazing, however at regular intervals overhead flew aircraft on their final approach to East Midlands Airport and seeing as this airport is the busiest freight airport in the country that flies throughout the night, it was a definite NO as far as I was concerned! Another aspect which really got to both of us was how much busier all the roads (yes even the narrow back country lanes) are over there than where we live presently.
So our search continues, damn it!!
